Description of the Venue
Las Vegas has seen turmoil over the last twenty-five years, a prince who had no control, a prince who wanted too much, and then there was the prince who thought he could change it all. None of them succeeded and someone kept killing. It started twenty-five years ago with the gruesome and mysterious murder of the Master of Elysium, Father Little. Then one by one kindred met the same horrible fate. Too busy trying to bring about change, the prince along with most of the rest of the kindred missed opportunities to stop the one who hunted them.
Then he appeared, shortly after the death of the latest prince, offering a way out. He made the kindred of Las Vegas believe that their may be a way to survive, at least for the few that were left. At first, no one believed him, and then he took over. He took over because they let him. They, the oldest members of the city, believed that this one kindred could in fact change the fate of Las Vegas. Surely, favors were exchanged, force was exercised, but in the end he had somehow convinced them.
Change is exactly what Las Vegas got in the years after his arrival. It was not easy and it was not instantaneous, but the new prince delivered what he had promised. It has been over 15 years since the last murder of a vampire. Kindred have died but not by the hands of the one who had slain so many in just seven years.
Now Las Vegas has started to flourish again, but the kindred are curious, who was responsible for the murders? Why did they stop? Will they start again? Who can answer their questions? The Prince? The ones he allies himself with? Should they be worried?
The fear and suspicion start to rise as the city prepares for its Centennial celebration. Las Vegas is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States, no wonder kindred keep popping in to stay.
